Phaea  recognizes that privacy is important to you and wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose data.  “Personal Data” are data that identify you as an individual or relate to an identifiable individual.

This Privacy Statement describes the privacy practices of Phaea  and is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679 as well as with the National Data Protection legislation. It explains what information we collect about you when you visit our site and/or when you make a reservation with us and how we handle your information to ensure that your rights are always respected.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

When you directly register to make a reservation or use our services and upon your check-in in one of our hotels we may ask you to provide certain personal information including your full name, identity card, passport, physical and email address, credit card number, telephone number, registration, payment details etc.

When you visit our websites, we may also collect information on an ongoing basis through Google Analytics about what pages you access or visit, and information about your use of our site, for example the pages viewed, the website from which you came to visit our site, changes you make to information you provided to us and your transactions including by use of cookies.

CHILDREN’S DATA

Our website is not intended for children under 16 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from children to sell or promote our services.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We process your personal data in accordance with the EU Regulations for one or more of the following reasons:

1. Necessary for the performance of a contract

  • To carry out our obligations with respect to any contractual agreements between us with respect to information and services that you may request from us,
  • To process a hotel reservation,
  • To process your check-in
  • To process your payment
  • To take your reservation for events
  • To facilitate your participation in tours

2. Necessary for Phaea to comply with a legal obligation

  • To fulfil our tax, accounting and reporting obligations.

3. To serve our (and third party) legitimate business interests

  • legitimate interest is when we have a business or commercial reason to use your information. But even then, such use is consistent with the fundamental rights of individuals, for example:
  • To provide you with effective customer service and support,
  • To respond to your requests,
  • To improve the security and usability of our website and services,
  • To perform customer satisfaction surveys,
  • To execute business transactions with you,
  • To keep you updated on our new services and offers,
  • To operate CCTV systems to prevent illegal actions, to protect you and our staff and our property

We will process and store your Personal Data for the duration of our relationship with you, and as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations.

  • We may process your personal data to tell you about products, services and offers that may be of interest to you or your business. The personal data that we process for this purpose consists of information you provide to us and data we collect when you use our products.
